1) Activate iCloud for WhatsApp first<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/section>\n

The easiest way to export large chats is via iCloud. This is how to activate iCloud:<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>\n

Go to the\u00a0Settings<\/em>\u00a0of your iPhone and click on\u00a0your account<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>\n

Activate\u00a0iCloud Drive<\/em>\u00a0and make sure that\u00a0WhatsApp<\/em>\u00a0is active, too.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

2) And now: export Your WhatsApp Chat from iOS<\/h2>\n

Open the\u00a0chat<\/em>\u00a0you want to make a book of.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>

\nClick on the\u00a0name<\/em>\u00a0of the chat, which is located above the messages of the chat.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>

Step 3<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Scroll down and select\u00a0<\/strong>Export\u00a0Chat<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>

Step 4<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Select\u00a0Attach Media<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>if you want to export the\u00a0media files as well.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>

Step 5<\/strong><\/h3>\n

<\/p>\n

Select the iPhone\u00a0Mail<\/em>\u00a0app. Do NOT\u00a0select\u00a0any other app (such as Gmail\u00a0or Dropbox).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>

Type\u00a0en@zapptales.com<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>as the recipient. Write\u00a0any subject and click on\u00a0Send<\/em>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>

If the attachment is very large, you will see the following notification. Select\u00a0Use Mail Drop<\/em>. Your chat is on the way!<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>

Please note that the email containing your chat will remain in your \u201coutbox\u201d folder until your chat has been fully uploaded to iCloud.
\nYour chat has only been uploaded when your email shows up in the \u201csent\u201d folder.
