Before you turn your\u00a0Facebook Messenger Chat into a book<\/strong>, you first have to\u00a0download a copy of your conversations<\/strong>\u00a0from Facebook.<\/p>\n

This is a\u00a0native Facebook function<\/strong>\u00a0that every Facebook user has access to.<\/p>\n

The file you download from Facebook contains\u00a0all your Facebook chats<\/strong>. You can then upload the chat you want to turn into a book to zapptales.<\/p>\n

We\u2018ll now show you\u00a0how to download this file in 8 steps.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Open your\u00a0Facebook account<\/strong>\u00a0on your PC. Click on the\u00a0small triangle<\/strong>\u00a0in the top right corner of your screen and select \u201eSettings<\/strong>\u201c to access your general account settings.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/p><\/div>

On the left hand side, click on “Your Facebook information”<\/strong>. Now, please navigate to “Download your information”<\/strong> on the right hand side and click on “View”<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/p><\/div>

On the left hand side, click on “Your Facebook information”<\/strong>. Now, please navigate to “Download your information”<\/strong> on the right hand side and click on “View”<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/p><\/div>

Select the “High”<\/strong> setting for media quality<\/strong>. Next, click on “Deselect all”<\/strong> on the right hand side.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/p><\/div>

Great job! You have now requested a copy of your Facebook messages. As soon as your data is ready<\/strong> to be downloaded you receive an e-mail from Facebook<\/strong> as well as a notification<\/strong> in Facebook.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/p><\/div>
