Before you turn your\u00a0Instagram chat into a book<\/strong>, you first have to\u00a0download a copy of your conversations<\/strong>\u00a0from Instagram.<\/p>\n

This is a\u00a0native Instagram function<\/strong>\u00a0that every Instagram user has access to.<\/p>\n

The file you download from Instagram contains\u00a0all your Instagram chats<\/strong>. You can then upload the chat you want to turn into a book to zapptales.<\/p>\n

We\u2018ll now show you\u00a0how to download this file.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

To protect your identity, Instagram now asks for your password. Please enter your Instagram password and click “next” in the top right hand corner.<\/p>\n

This way, you confirm your download request.<\/p>\n

Instagram says it can take up to 48 hours until you receive the e-mail containing your data.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/p><\/div>

Open the e-mail Instagram sent you on your PC or laptop.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

In this e-mail, click on “Download data” to save your data on your PC.<\/p>\n

Important: Please do not take steps 8-10 on your mobile – otherwise you won’t be able to upload your data to zapptales.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/p><\/div>
