The easiest way to export large chats is via iCloud. This is how to activate iCloud:
Go to the Settings of your iPhone and click on your account.
Click on iCloud.
Activate iCloud Drive and make sure that WhatsApp is active, too.
Open the chat you want to make a book of.
Click on the name of the chat, which is located above the messages of the chat.
Scroll down and select Export Chat.
Select Attach Media if you want to export the media files as well.
Select the iPhone Mail app. Do NOT select any other app (such as Gmail or Dropbox).
Type en@zapptales.com as the recipient. Write any subject and click on Send.
If the attachment is very large, you will see the following notification. Select Use Mail Drop. Your chat is on the way!
Please note that the email containing your chat will remain in your “outbox” folder until your chat has been fully uploaded to iCloud.
Your chat has only been uploaded when your email shows up in the “sent” folder.
You will receive an automated “chat received” confirmation email as soon as we have received your chat.
